St Cyrus School are the winners of this year’s Road Safety Week Campaign
Recognition Express teamed up with Brake to run a road safety banner design competition to help promote Road Safety Week 2011 during the week commencing 21-27 November to schools across the UK.
JAY ROBSON from St Cyrus primary school is the winner from the North Scotland region of the national “Design a Road Safety Banner Competition” to promote Road Safety Week 2011.
Jay will see his banner put up outside the school after winning the design contest, run by the promotional company Recognition Express North Scotland.
He has also won 300 high-visibility drawstring bags for his school as well as 200 “star writer” pencils.
Dennis D’Arcy of Recognition Express North Scotland awarded the pupil a special Star Award along with the 2x1m banner bearing his winning design during the school assembly on Tuesday.
Thousands of entries were received this year and the judging panel had an incredibly difficult, yet enjoyable time coming to an overall agreed decision.
